OCEANSIDE, N.Y. - In front of a packed house, and with more than 500 registered Internet bidders and six phone lines in action, seven fresh-to-the-market Charles Schulz originals brought top prices recently at Philip Weiss Auctions.

The auction was highlighted by two rare Li'l Folks panels, which brought $27,500 and $33,000, respectively.

A very rare Li'l Folks daily brought $12,650. Three early Schulz Peanuts dailies brought between $9,350 and $10,450 each. Animation art was also strong, with a Snow White cel bringing $12,650.

Toys, trains and dolls added to the 1,000-lot auction, which topped the $300,000 mark.

Prices reported include 13 percent buyer's premium.
