$83,375 Diamond Sparkles At North River Auction

SAUGERTIES, N.Y.

:Estate jewelry, much of which was consigned from the estate of a socialite from Cornwall, N.Y., attracted serious attention at North River Auction Gallery this past Sunday, June 26.

The highlight of the auction was an impressive 11.10-carat solitaire diamond ring set in platinum that captured the eye of many a lady. Bidding on the lot was brisk, with it selling for an impressive price of $83,375.
