MONTE CARLO, MONACO - At the Monaco Yacht Show on September 22 in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Only Watch 05 charity auction of 34 wristwatches raised $2,327,000 to fund important medical research to help children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

According to Osvaldo Patrizzi, chairman and CEO of Antiquorum, who co-organized the auction, "The astounding amount raised by this auction was exceptional; however, at the same time, on par with the quality of the timepieces offered. It was also an acknowledgement to the generosity of the watch manufacturers as well as the efforts of all those involved including the Monaco Yacht Show, Antiquorum, ING Private Banking and especially the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy."

Thanks to generous sponsors, no costs and commissions will be deducted from the sum collected. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Monegasque Association Against Muscular Dystrophies (www.amm.asso.mc).
