:Victorian Casino Antiques' March 9 and 10 auction set records for live attendance and gross sales. According to Pat McGuire, partner in Victorian Casino Antiques, the live audience was the largest in the auction house's history. Nor were bidders shy, as prices set records on many items in their specific categories.

Across the board, there was interest in gambling machines, trade stimulators, arcade machines and advertising pieces, especially gas- and oil-related items.

The top gambling lots of the auction were a Mills roulette machine that attained $165,000 and a Buckley Bones dice machine that realized $18,700.

Other highlights included a Hance gumball machine at $5,720, a 1956 Oldsmobile porcelain air conditioning sign at $8,525, a Dayton Tire neon sign for $8,250, a Richfield oil tanker toy for $6,600 and an oak display cabinet at $13,750.
