:Edgar Yaeger Paintings At Cincinnati Art Galleries
Cincinnati Art Galleries will feature a special opening of works
by Edgar Yaeger on Saturday, March 26, 10 am to 4 pm, to view
more than 50 of his oil paintings and watercolors from the 1920s
through the 1990s. The show will continue at the gallery through
mid April.
Mr Yaeger is credited as being one of the first American
Modernists. His award winning work was exhibited twice at the
Museum of Modern Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran
Gallery Biennial, the Art Institute of Chicago and the
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Mr Yaeger's works will be available to view on the gallery's
website, www.Cincinnatiartgalleries.com.
Cincinnati Art Galleries features a continually changing display
of European and American paintings, Rookwood pottery and other
fine American and European art pottery and art glass. Hours for
the gallery, 225 East 6th Street, are 9 am to 5 pm,
Monday-Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. The public is
