Leo J. Hurley Reflects On Robert (Bobby) Webber

Bobby Webber, friend, mentor and business partner who died a year ago.

:Reflections — it has been over a year ago or so and I have finally found time to reflect about a legend in his own time.

My friend, my pal, my buddy, my mentor and my business partner, Bobby Webber. Bobby was a giant of a man, and as big as he was, he was a man whose heart was even bigger. He was truly a man larger than life. As this year has come and gone, I find myself looking and waiting for him to come into the barn and of course, that isn't going to happen. But as darkness turns to daylight, I sometimes think he still is coming in and yet I know differently.

Many people have come and gone in the antique business, but none like him. Bobby Webber was a jokester, a father, a husband and the best business partner one could have. Being his business partner was an honor and a privilege and I miss him dearly.

Bobby, you have gone to greater heights, but you are still with us. Thank you for letting me be part of your most wonderful life!
