:Wayne Robert Adams, age 50, died on the 15th of March, at his home in Canaan, N.H. He was born January 1, 1958, and has succumbed to terminal cancer. At the time of his death, he was the managing partner of American Decorative Arts and its subsidiary, Crow's Run Gallery, a private customer-based antiques service, both in Canaan.
Wayne was known worldwide as a top collector and purveyor of weavings in silk, known as Stevengraphs. He developed one of the largest assemblages in the world, and served for three years as president of the Stevengraph Collectors Association. His enthusiasm was contagious, his energy unbounded and he was well respected for his knowledge.
A private memorial service will be held for family, clients and friends at a later date. Those who knew Wayne will miss him, along with his strong personality and convictions.
