:Joseph Lehman, who was in the antiques business for more than 35 years, died August 7, after a 2½-year battle against cancer.
Lehman was a regular exhibitor at specialty shows throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast; he always setup at the New York Piers shows throughout the 1980s and 1990s. During that time he was a member of American Political Items Collectors, The Stereopticon Society and The Ephemera Society.
While he was recuperating from serious illness in 1998, he began selling on eBay, which he continued to do as JLephemera through 2007. He made many friends in these circles and enjoyed the time spent with them.
Joe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol.
Memorial donations may be made to the Delaware SPCA, Route 7, Box 6067, Stanton, DE 19804, or to any other animal shelter to honor him and the two cats who were his constant companions through this incredible journey and are lost without him.
