:Robert W. Haug, age 79, formerly of Strasburg, Penn., and Toms River, N.J., died Monday, August 24. He and his wife Dorisann A. Riley Haug celebrated 54 years of marriage on August 20. Having an avid interest in antiques, Bob and Doris owned Cedar House Antiques, Strasburg, for more than 35 years. Frequent exhibitors at antiques show throughout the country, they were well-known for their collections of a whale oil lamps, country furniture, hooked rugs, toys and gaudy Welsh.

Haug was born in Newark, N.J., son of Anthony M. and Mary Sessler Haug. A retired educator, he was formerly employed by the Toms River School District, where he served as a teacher, guidance counselor and assistant superintendent of schools. He was a member of St Edward's Episcopal Church, Lancaster, Penn.

Bob served as a Strasburg Republican committeeman, was a former member of the Strasburg Lions Club, a former board member of the Strasburg-Heisler Library board and was a former member of the Strasburg Heritage Society, where he had served as president and trustee.

He was a corporal in the US Army during the Korean conflict.

In addition to Dorisann, survivors include a daughter, Mary-Elise Haug of Indianapolis; a son, Theodore C. Haug of Lititz, Penn.; and a granddaughter, Olivia. A memorial service was held St Edward's Episcopal Church on August 28,
