Folk Art Portrait Reported Stolen From Wolfeboro, N.H., Summer Home

The three-quarter-length folk art portrait of a woman in a gold frame measures approximately 3 feet by 3 feet. The painting is rather dark and the details are difficult to make out. The sitter wears a white mopcap with a ribbon, and her dress has a white "lace” fabric that covers her shoulders and top of the dress at the bodice. The woman's hair is parted in the middle and appears to be brown with ringlets on either side of her face. Her left hand is visible in her lap.
