:Police are chasing the dragon —a Nineteenth Century figural weathervane, that is — which was reported stolen on April 25, 2007. Burglars apparently reached the high-flying antique metal sculpture through a second story window and tried to cover up the theft by replacing it with a copy, according to the incident report.
The vane item stands about 24 inches tall, with no known markings, and was made in the 1880s, according to Sgt Ken Woellert of the Cincinnati Police Department.
Anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of this item is asked to contact Detective Michael Winstead of the Cincinnati Police Department at 513-979-4430.
