:The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary of a residence here that occurred sometime between mid-April and mid-May of this year. Several items were stolen, and the family is seeking help in finding them.
Among the items that were reported missing is a Maurice "Jake" Day watercolor of a rowboat; two banjo wall clocks (one of which is electrified); an oil painting of a farm scene signed by Frank Hendry; an oil painting of a winter scene in a white frame; a copper charger; a small, stained, wood thumb back chair with possibly hand carved seat; a Dartmouth mantel clock; a large Chinese tapestry of wading birds; and a sampler. The sampler is a reproduction of one hanging in Historic Williamsburg, and it was wrought by the owner's mother and initialed "LFG."
