NYC Bagel Vendor Painting Said Stolen In Ramapo, N.Y.

:The Ramapo Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on or about March 20 in which a quantity of paintings and antiques were stolen.

One of the paintings reported stolen depicts an orthodox Jewish man selling bagels in New York City during the 1920s. The artist is identified as William David Hecht. Created in the 1920s, the painting is approximately 4 feet wide and 5 feet high.

Anyone having information about this painting is asked to contact Detective Greg Dunn of the Ramapo Police Department at 845-357-2400.
