This painting was reported stolen July 2.
:The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating the reported theft from a home of a Royal Doulton vase and an oil painting.
Reported stolen by the owner on July 2 were a Royal Doulton square-body vase tapering at the rim with a cartouche on each side depicting Oriental figures among a garden motif on a buff ground framed by a scrolled border. The vase is about 18 inches high.
The painting is an oil on canvas portrait in a gold-toned wood frame depicting a woman wearing a green coat and a red shawl over her head with a string of pearls intertwined in her hair.
