:The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a robbery from a jewelry dealer's vehicle parked outside a seafood restaurant on July 12. More than $100,000 in jewelry was stolen in a van break-in while the owners were inside the restaurant eating dinner.
Driving back from the Phoenix Antiques Show, the dealers stopped for dinner and upon coming back to their van found the driver's side window smashed and a wooden partition broken into. Suitcases containing personal items as well as a case containing the jewelry were taken.
Among the items reported stolen were a lady's 18K white gold and golden South Seas cultured pearl and diamond set flower pattern ring, a 14K bracelet with nine carats of rubies and five carats of diamonds, as well as a lady's 14K yellow gold Boulder 33-carat opal and diamond set pendant on a 14K yellow gold box chain. A distinctive 18K white gold, pink sapphire set dragonfly brooch, measuring approximately 91 millimeters wing to wing tip, was also taken.
