:The Portland Police Department is investigating the theft of three artworks from an art gallery here.
Reported stolen was Conrad Felixmuller's "Erste Schritte," Sohn 170, woodcut on thin cream colored laid paper, 1919. The rare work is one of an edition of about ten and is signed, titled and inscribed "holzschnitt" in pencil.

Also reported missing are a pair of ink drawings by JOB (Jacques Onfroy de Breville, French, 1858–1931). The delicate line drawings are titled "Going To Market," which measures 2 by 7½ inches (6¼ by 11 inches sheet) and "At The Market," 4 by 7½ inches (73/8 by 12 inches, sheet). The highly finished drawings are signed with a stamp, "JOB," within a circle.
