: - Eight exciting antiques events will be taking place in New
Hampshire over the course of nine days from Friday, August 1,
through Saturday, August 9. The whole Antiques Week in New
Hampshire has blossomed around the success of the original New
Hampshire Dealers' Show with hundreds of exhibitors now offering
their wares throughout the week. The following is a listing of
"official" Antiques Week in New Hampshire events to help you
through the adrenalin packed events.
Northeast Auctions August 1-3
Antiques Week in New Hampshire kicks off this year with Northeast
Auction's three-day sale featuring the Robert M. Whittemore
paperweight collection on Friday, August 1, in Manchester. The
sale features more than 120 lots from the prestigious collection
with preview starting at 9 am. The paperweight sale will begin at
1 pm, although preview for the selection of Americana and
property of Cora and Benjamin Ginsburg to be sold on Saturday and
Sunday, August 2 and 3, respectively, will continue to 9 pm.
Preview for the Important Americana and Folk Art on Saturday also
begins at 9 am with the sale getting underway at 1 pm. The
Ginsburg materials will continue to be on view until 9 pm.
Preview for Cora and Benjamin Ginsburg collection will begin at 9
am on Sunday, August 3, and will continue to 10:45 am. The
auction begins at 11 am. The auctions take place at The Center of

New England Antiques Festival August 2-3
Also kicking the week off will be The New England Antiques
Festival at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds, Exit 7 off Interstate 89,
a two-day show August 2-3. The show, under the management of
Flamingo Promotions, features antiques, vintage collectibles,
Americana and classic cars. Admission to the show is $5. For

Americana Celebration Antiques Show August 5
The Americana Celebration Antiques Show will take place at the
Deerfield Fairgrounds, located on Route 43 in Deerfield, for a
one-day showing on August 5. One hundred thirty-five dealers will
participate in the event offering a selection of Eighteenth and
Nineteenth Century furniture and decorative accessories. Early
buyers will be admitted into the show from 8 am to 10 am for $20.
The show opens for general admission at 10 am, $6 admission, and

Start of Manchester Antiques Show August 5-6
Manchester's first formal indoor antiques show, the Start of
Manchester Antiques Show hosted by Flamingo Productions, will
open Tuesday at noon and continue to 6 pm. It will reopen on
Wednesday from 10 am to 5 pm. The show takes place at the JFK
Coliseum, 303 Beech Street, Manchester. Admission to the show is

10th Annual Riverside Antiques Show August 5-7.
Called one of the cornerstones of Antiques Week in New Hampshire,
the 10th Annual Riverside Antiques Show will open to the public
at 5 pm on Tuesday, August 5, and remain open till 8 pm. The
show, at the Executive Court Banquet Facility, 13500 South Willow
Street, Manchester, features 72 exhibitors from 20 states with
roomlike settings of Eighteenth to early Twentieth Century
country and formal furniture and decorative accessories. The show
is also open on Tuesday, August 6, from 1 pm to 7 pm, and on
Wednesday from noon to 4 pm. Admission is $10 and includes

Mid*Week in Manchester Antiques Show August 6-7
One hundred four "outstanding" Americana specialists will offer
up a prime selection of Eighteenth to early Twentieth Century
furniture and accessories in room settings during Barn Star
Productions annual show on August 6-7. The show, at The Wayfarer
Inn, 121 South River Road, Bedford, opens to the public at 9 am
on Wednesday and closes at 7 pm. It reopens at 11 am on Thursday
and closes at 5 pm. Admission to the show is $10, including

The 46th Annual New Hampshire Antiques Show August 7-9
The most anticipated event of Antiques Week in New Hampshire is
also the one that started it all, The 46th Annual New Hampshire
Antiques Show at the Center of New Hampshire Holiday Inn in
Manchester. The event, hosted by the New Hampshire Dealers'
Association, features 65 dealers and is commonly referred to as
New England's premiere summer show. Admission to the show is $10
on Thursday, 10 am to 8 pm, and $8 on Friday and Saturday, 10 am
to 8 pm and 10 am to 4 pm, respectively. For show information

The Bedford Pickers Market Friday, August 8
Last but not least is the Bedford Pickers Market Antiques Show at
the same location as Mid*Week, The Wayfarer Inn, 121 South River
Road, Bedford. This is a fast paced show with 104 "fresh" dealers
that have not exhibited elsewhere during Antiques Week in New
Hampshire. Country, formal, folk art and garden accessories will
be featured. Admission for early buyers is $20 9 am to 11 am,
general admission is from 11 am to 4 pm and is $8. Barn Star
