Hurricane Isabel Cancels Ulster Show

NEW PALTZ, N.Y.

: Cord Shows Ltd has canceled the fall edition of Antiques at the Ulster County Fairgrounds that was scheduled for September 20-21.

Promoter Vivien Cord said that the cancellation was due to dealers' concerns about the potential effects of Hurricane Isabel on the show, which is conducted primarily outdoors under tents. "Our dealers come from as far away as Maine and Virginia," said Cord. "They did not want to disappoint their customers."
