:Stella Show Mgmt Co. announced that its January 21 and 22
Americana at the Piers, which had been reduced to a single pier
due to availability of the facility, will resume its normal
appearance of two Piers. Leanne Stella, president of Stella Show
Mgmt, said, "Originally the second pier was not available to us.
During this past week the city's administrators released Pier 92
for the show.
"We have been doing this as a two-pier show for so many years
that our waiting list was extensive so we will have no problem
filling it while still being selective to be sure the visitors
get what they will be coming for," she added.
Announced during the Triple Pier show this past weekend, November
5 and 6, many of the dealers were signing up. Americana at the
Piers has been a show with the theme in its name but due to the
lateness of the availability the second pier "will be more of a
general mix of Antiques, not just the traditional antiques" she
said.
