| Laubner, a 15-year collector of vintage clothing and accessories, curated the exhibit "The Fabulous Flapper: Fashions of the 1920s" and co-curated "Under Wraps: Undergarments 1850-1950" at the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts. In Fashions of the Roaring '20s, she offers more than 550 color photographs of lingerie, day wear, evening wear, bridal wear, sportswear, outerwear, hair and headgear, handbags, vanities, compacts, footwear, jewelry, men's wear, uniforms and children's wear. An historical background of the 1920's opens this volume, while a glossary of fashion terminology (including French terms and pronunciations), a bibliography and a price guide conclude it. Laubner is very thorough, offering concise, informative descriptions of manufacturers, materials and trends. Vintage clothing collectors and dealers should enjoy her efforts.
