| From the Victorian era to the present, Coca-Cola has created trays to sell its product. Famous for their smiling young women in various states of undress, these advertising wonders also featured work by artists like N.C. Wyeth and Norman Rockwell and have become a collecting bonanza, ranging in price from $5 to nearly $5,000. McClintock, a member of the Coca-Cola Collectors Club of Central Florida and an active collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, has assembled 250 trays spanning 98 years, with emphasis on the "second era" of production, which began in 1970. While the author identifies, dates, sizes and offers the mint condition value of each tray, no other information is given; the reader may wish to choose another publication if looking for a more in-depth discussion on Coca-Cola's advertising history and choice of models and subjects, etc. Brief advice for new collectors, including a overly concise section on authenticity is featured, along with information of Coca-Cola resources and events.
