I found a silver plated ceremonial sword totally engraved with I believe the makers names at the base that stated "Henderson ames co. kalamazoo, mi. On the handle was inserted a wooden cross. Any information or is this a fake? it appears old. Please - melissa |

I have a sabre...looks to me like a Foot Officer's Sword form the Civil War period. However, the blade is a bit narrower and it bears the inscription 'Carl eickhorn Solingen on the blade by the hilt. The other side bears a crest of some sort and the lette - Ameci50 |

I recently avquired a sword made by Henderson Ames and Co. It is from the International Order Of Foresters. It is from 4 generations ago. Does anyone have any insight as to the history of either the sword or the International Order of Foresters.

I have a sword from the henderson ames co. Mich. Similar to the ones above. On the blade it says James Albert Saapp.. (It looks like it says "snapp or saapp") On the outside of the scabbord it says Nate D Bachman, and right below the Ivory handle it says - JIM |

My husband has a cap and ball double barrel rifle with the name MOORE on it. Brass decorations on the stock along with the patchbox. It weighs 12.5 lbs and the barrels are 32". Anybody have any idea what the value may be? - sherry |

My husband and I live in Texas. When he was a kid he found a knife in a cave. It is obviously hand made...you can tell by the blade. It is kind of curved. It has a wood handle but it is covered with leather. The blade is steel or some type of metal. - vickiemanies |

The knife is two edged , blade is 8 3/4 inch long , knife is 13 3/4 inch long.
