GREENWICH, CONN. — Elsie “Bunny” Pell Guion Pierot, the beloved matriarch of the Pierot family, died on April 3 at Greenwich Hospital with her four children, Robert Pierot, Catherine Zicherman, Ted Pierot and Felicia Brody, as well as daughter Julie in spirit, by her side. She was born in 1933, the only child of Elsie Pell and Floyd Guion.
Her amazing, shining spirit transformed the lives of those she met. She had an unrelenting humor and passion for living.
A jewelry artist, her work was displayed at museums in New York City and Connecticut. For more than 40 years she was founder and president of The Resale Company, an estate sales specialist and appraiser. She had great affection for the diversity found in art, antiques and collectibles.
Bunny’s extraordinary sensibilities never allowed the glue to dry in the love and support of one another — her family, extended family and her great eclectic circle of friends.
Her loving, positive values will live on in all of us. Bunny’s legacy will live on in her grandchildren Penelope and Melanie Brody, Olivia, Cecily and Spencer Choi, Dustin Ziegler, George and Isabel Pierot, Elizabeth Welch, Christopher, Phillip, Nicholas and Sophie-Charlotte Chen and her great-granddaughter Bella Grace D’Archangelo. She wanted to be everywhere all the time for everyone and now she is.
Contributions may be made in memory of Bunny Pierot to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
