To the Editor:
My father, Edwin Constant, passed away at noon on Saturday, September 16, 2006, at age 91. Karin and I were set up at the Newport Historical Society 2006 Antiques Show. We left our booth and truck in Newport, R.I., and drove down to the New London ferry and home to eastern Long Island.
We wish to thank our fellow dealers for their sympathies and especially Trisha McElroy, Linda Turner and Gene LaParle for supervising the dismantling of our booth and the packing of our truck. Their support was very kind and very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Douglas Constant
