A home was broken into here on May 5 between 6:30 and 10 pm. Many items, including jewelry and antiques, were reported stolen and Greenwich Police Department is investigating the matter.
Among the many items stolen was a turn of the century tea set that, according to the owner, featured an ebony goose neck and handles, bird spout with ivory trim and bird feet. The set comprised the original tray and four pieces: the coffee pot, tea pot, sugar and creamer.
A choker collar-type Lalaounis necklace, either 18K or 22K gold, had matching bracelets with ram’s heads. A turn of the century epergne of sterling silver with glass inserts, probably French, was also taken
