Officials at the Art Loss Register (ALR) have issued a theft alert for a rare bronze ornamental fish stolen from a private garden here some time between June 15 and 18.
One of a pair of decorative bronze dragonfish made in the Twentieth Century, the sculpture stands approximately 47 inches high and is about 34 inches wide.
This item has been reported to the police and is listed on the ALR’s database of stolen artwork. The ALR is working in conjunction with the theft victim and authorities in seeking information on the current location of this rare and valuable piece.
