Robert H. Camara died November 5 after a sudden illness. He was co-owner of Bloomin’ Antiques in Fitzwilliam for more than 35 years.
He loved the antiques business, but most of all the dealers and collectors who became repeat customers of the shop over the years. He loved to share information, a bad joke occasionally and his personality with each customer. Many of them became good friends and a part of an extended family.
He is survived by his longtime companion of 39 years, Gary Taylor of Fitzwilliam, a daughter, Erin T. Curry, and a large extended family of friends too big to mention individually.
Per Bob’s request, there were no calling hours or service. A celebration of his life will be conducted in May, and there will be plenty of notice. The Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Jaffrey, N.H., is assisting with arrangements. An online guest book is at www.cournoyerfh.com.
Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Rock River Preservation Inc, PO Box 1095 Brattleboro VT 05302.
