FALMOUTH, MAINE — Codger Nolan, a large sedge-color Chesapeake Bay retriever and friend to all, died at the age of 13½ on June 12.
He was the kindest loving “Chessie” to everyone he met.
He loved to travel and was great company and a well-known figure at the York Shows, Brimfield and others.
He was an exceptional duck dog and a happy one, who enjoyed his creature comforts and squeaky toys at home after a long day afield.
Codger was predeceased by his siblings Hannah and Scout and truly lived to be an “Old Codger.”
He is greatly missed.
“Dogs’ lives are too short… Their only fault really…”
