EASTON, MD. — A pair of old squaw by Shang Wheeler crossed the block at $103,500 at Guyette & Deeter’s annual fall decoy auction on November 11 and 12 at the Talbot County Community Center. The sale was conducted in conjunction with the Easton Waterfowl Festival and grossed $2.1 million, which was within estimate. There was a large crowd in the audience as well as 130 phone and absentee bids and 129 active online bidders. A total 42 lots sold for more than $10,000.
