NEW YORK CITY — On Wednesday, April 13, Christie’s will offer an important pistol set that was gifted to Simon Bolivar from Marquis de La-fayette. The pistols were made by Versailles gunsmith Nicolas-Noel Boutet, who served as the gunsmith to Napoleon.
