NEW YORK CITY — Ian Wardropper, director of The Frick Collection, leads us through the fine and detailed Limoges enamel works that reside in the “enamels room.” The collection took shape in 1916 when Frick purchased a selection of works from the collection of J.P. Morgan. The Frick Collection features many of the most famous workshops in France and includes pieces that range from triptych panels to plaques and vessels, all of remarkable quality and craftsmanship.
