Wm. Demuth & Co. Manufacturers Punch Advertising Figure
Metal cigar store figure for Wm. Demuth & Co. Manufacturers. Features a punch figure with a cigar in his mouth, one hand extended holding a bundle of cigars, and the other pointed towards his face. Has original fuel inlet in rear of statue. Maintains a great original patina and shows wonderfully. Circa late Nineteenth Century. One of few known examples. Believed to be the best original example.

Probably by Ives, Blakeslee Company Bridgeport, Connecticut, circa 1890s. This sleek and elegant saddle horse represents the rarest and most beautiful cast iron still bank to ever come to market. The bank is designed with a level of detail that is simply unmatched. It is imbued with the characteristics of extreme quality that we have come to associate with the production output of Ives, Blakeslee. Helen Smith took one short look at this bank and instantly recognized its beauty and significance. She turned to Scudder and advised him to sell everything else and buy this one bank.

Fine Moser Gilt Enamel Ruby Glass Casket Box
Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), Nineteenth Century. A very fine sugar casket, trinket or dresser box of ruby glass and decorated all over in heavy gold gilding and hand painted raised enamel, the top, sides, front and back with cartouches enclosing colorful birds. Box is mounted at the side with decorative bail and scroll handles and rests on stylized scrolls terminating on ball feet. Interior glass lid has gold etched “15” as does the interior top back of glass panel.

With marks for workmaster Julius Rappoport, St. Petersburg, Russia, circa 1899-1908, 15.4 troy ounces. The razorback pig presented as seated on hind legs, finely detailed body simulating fur, curled tail above bell pull string, upward gaze with mouth slightly agape, red garnet cabochon push to snout.
