NEW MILFORD, CONN. — Old Man Winter just doesn’t want to go away. The Elephant’s Trunk Flea Market, which had scheduled to open March 16, is now tentatively slated to open its season Sunday, March 30.

The market, which in the last few years when winter has been mild was able to open mid-March, would open if the snowstorm being forecast this week does not amount to much. Otherwise, the season opening would be pushed back to the first Sunday in April, said Greg Baecher.
