SAN RAMON, CA. – Highlights of Past Tyme Pleasures’ most recent absentee advertising auction included a King’s “Quickshot” gun powder original oil on canvas, circa 1890, which headed the sale at $10,010.

A Hills Bros. coffee thermometer sold for $908; a rosebud match dispenser brought $578; a Diamond Dye cabinet reached $1,925; and a Gloeklers patent cast ion figural butcher sign rang up $1,210.

A Red Belt cigar ad realized $853; a whistle embossed tin sign sold for $715; a Brecht 1891 butchers supply calendar reached $1,045; a Mayos plug tobacco sign garnered $770; a Life and Times of Buffalo Bill poster hammered down at $1,815 and a Koken leaded glass porcelain barber pole garnered $2,310.

Past Tyme Pleasures absentee advertising auction also included articles relating to general store, coffee, firearms, ammunition, cigar, tobacco, and breweries.
