ALAMEDA, CALIF. — On June 22, Michaan’s Auctions set new auction records with its fine Asian works of art auction that was led by Fu Baoshi’s (1904–1965) hanging scroll “Lady by the Bamboo” that set a new US auction record for the artist at $1,410,000, also becoming Michaan’s single highest selling painting to date.
