SOUTH LONDONDERRY, VT. — The antiques show formerly known as Bromley and most recently as Magic Mountain has landed at the Stratton Mountain Base Lodge for the foreseeable future. Owner/manager Greg Hamilton met with Stratton and said he is extremely excited about the change. Only 10 miles or so from the two former locations, Stratton brings a newly refurbished larger modern facility, said Hamilton, along with onsite lodging, a fabulous location, restaurants and much more to what has become a go-to show for collectors, decorators and dealers during Vermont Antiques Week. “And generally Mother Nature provides visitors with a spectacular show of the colors of autumn at no extra charge,” said Hamilton. “The drive up or down Route 30 and up the Stratton Access road is beautiful anytime and October makes it even more special.”
Antiques at Stratton Mountain will open for a breakfast preview ($15) at 8 am on Saturday, October 1, with general admission ($10) following from 10 am-5 pm and on Sunday ($5) from 10 am-3 pm. The Weston, Okemo, Ludlow and Manchester shows are all a short drive away. Most of the Magic Mountain dealers will become Stratton dealers, according to Hamilton, and there is space for a few additional dealers.
