After the sale of the Hartford Connecticut Expo Center in September 2011, Barn Star Productions and Frank Gaglio lost this venue for the popular Autumn Hartford Antiques Show. Now the Rhinebeck, N.Y.-based show promoter has canceled the 2012 edition of the event.

Commented Gaglio, “It is with great disappointment and nearly a year of exhaustive searching that we have canceled our show for October 2012. Not only does this create a void in our loyal exhibitors’ show schedule, but also interrupts the income stream for many dealers that depend upon this important show on an annual basis.

“Our collectors and customers are equally saddened by this news as the Autumn Hartford Antiques Show has become a staple on the fall calendar of major antiques events,” he continued. “We are already making plans to reinstate the show in 2013 and in a facility that is convenient, comfortable, cost effective and suitable for a quality antiques show.”
