We have the pleasure of selling the estate of the late, noted Vermont artist, Phyllis Hammond. Also, selected additions to make for a well rounded sale. Phyllis’s book: ”Traveling With Wildflowers From Newfoundland to Alaska”, showed her love of artwork and flowers. Artwork will be sold at 12 noon
Furniture: Early pine dresser cupboard, also a bench made exact copy by Phyllis’s husband Milton Hammond, early splayed leg dough box w/cover, tool & document boxes, trunks, drop leaf sewing stand, variety of bureaus, country hepplewhite blanket chest, Sheraton style cookie corner server, dressing table, Mission style hall tree, commode, oak server, china cabinets, blanket chests, buggy seat, drop leaf tables, several bookcases, restored Eastlake set, bucket cupboard/dry sink combo, treadle sewing machine, oak drop front sheraton, country server, wicker & other chairs of every description, melodian, quality modern furniture incl. Art work & Wall hangings: Special estate painting by Phyllis Hammond to include: “Matahuski Mountain”, “White Ink”, “Badland Beauty”, “Genesis1”, “The World War”, “Captone”, “Lunch on the Nile”, and 13 boxes of wildflower prints by Phyllis, also other noted artwork.
