Gorham Engraved Sterling Silver Presentation Trophy.
Monumental size trophy retailed by Theodore Starr, dated 1898. Mounted on mahogany silver mounted matching base with three descriptive panels.
Presented to Major General Charles France Roe from Squadron A, completely decorated with repousse cast and engraved panaple of arms, independent roundels for the seal of the United States, the seal of the state of New York, and the cavalry seal of the Nation Guard New York for Squadron A.
Together with fitted box inscribed “Presented in 1898 to Charles Frances Roe from his Troop.”
