Anri Bottle Stoppers

The Italian Anri company created carved
wooden bottle stoppers, most mechanical,
from 1912 until the mid 1960’s. The earliest
versions were hand carved by people who
lived in the Groeden Mountain area & they
based the looks of the people on the stoppers
off of their neighbors.
