Articles include: Patinated bronze candelabras and chenets, cast iron garden benches, lead fountains, clock garnitures, New England tiger maple pieces, art deco brass frames, sculpture by Chris Custin, Barbara Lekberg, Japanese bronze monkey, ship models, whirligigs, graphophones with cylinders, 1980’s boxed Britains, Harriet Rich sampler, 1829, looking glasses, Lionel trains. Paintings by: Maurice Blum, Carl Brennir, Leon Caille, Benny Collin, Michael Graves, Richard Grosvenor, Dorothy Eardley Wilmot, large 18th or early 19th C. Old Masters landscape, European still-lifes on tin.

Please Note: A large quantity of fabric falling under the heading “Textiles”, and from “Elm Court”, the former residence of Mrs. Guy Fairfax Cary, will be offered.
Some of this fabric is well over 100 years old, and in generally good condition.
It includes gold thread valances, Chinese embroideries, Madeira lace, and other rare European weavings.
Oriental rugs: Four antique palace carpets (2 are in poor condition), Heriz (2), Kuba (2) Sarouks, Shirvan (3), Laver Kerman, Aubusson, Kelims.
ALLAN LANGLEY SYMPHONY
The original score of composer and prominent violist Allan Langley will be a featured offering
in Gustave White’s July 24 auction. “From My Childhood,” Langley’s only symphony,
was completed in 1920 when he was Principal Violist with the New York Philharmonic
Orchestra. The 163-page handwritten score was recently discovered in a Newport,
Rhode Island residence. Langley was born in Newport.
