XXX. Thirty. Thirty years of Spring auctions.
In 1991, Riley Humler and Randy Sandler presented the public with The Glover Sale, a three day auction of the best Rookwood Pottery Collection ever amassed. Many of you reading this message were in attendance. The sale was a great success, but more than that, it created an industry …and a tradition.
With this in mind, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that this June’s Rookwood XXX will be the ¬nal auction for Humler & Nolan. Additionally, due to complications stemming from the Covid-19 global pandemic, we are moving the sale date to Saturday and Sunday, June 20th & 21st
Preview will be conducted online or only by appointment with proper personal protection equipment.* We will not be publishing a printed catalog. The full catalog, including color photos and estimates, will be posted online at: www.humlernolan.com and www.liveauctioneers.com.
Bidding will be on the condition that all auction purchases must be paid for and removed from Humler & Nolan by Friday, July 31st. If you cannot pay for and have your winnings picked up and/or shipped by July 31st, please do not participate  in this auction.
Over the past thirty years we have learned quite a bit, met new friends and mourned the loss of old ones. We have set records and we have weathered recessions. However, time moves on and things do change. We wish we could throw one last bash and say goodbye face to face, but alas, that is not the world in which we currently live. All of us here at Humler & Nolan, Karen Singleton, Riley Humler, Jeff Engel and Mark Mussio, sincerely thank you for your business.
