During the 35 years that Dr. Edwin Madden and his wife Dorothy have owned “Stella Maris”, they have acquired-or amassed- a great collection of 72 paintings by well-listed American artists to further enhance the beautiful interior of the mansion (the largest residence on The Point). The Maddens are now moving to smaller quarters, and have asked us to sell at auction ALL of these paintings, together with the ship models, “epoque de merble” furniture, dioramas, decoys and outdoor statuary.
