Emerging from hibernation, the next Connecticut River Book Auction will be held on Thursday, March 18th and Friday, March 19th as an absentee book auction in South Glastonbury, CT. It features over 200 lots. Of interest is a consignment of original illustrations and drawing materials by “MAD” artist Bob Clarke, signed Ralph Steadman prints, artist proof illustrations by Pierre Vidal, preliminary Book Cover Art for Scribner’s, and signed paper by Horace Greeley.
To the art, bibliography, history, children’s, exploration, miniature books and fiction to be offered, this sale has several ephemera lots devoted to ship inventory business paper,
WWI and Civil War material, Hollywood autographs, and 155 Goudey Indian
