This auction will feature a large collection of Historical papers, documents, broadsides, books and maps that have descended down through the Camp Family from Sackets Harbor, NY. The material was recently removed by the Camp’s direct descendants from the Federal house that Colonel Elisha & Sophia Hale Camp built in 1816 and in which it has remained until now. It has been carefully safe guarded by the family descendants for 7 generations.
We will also be selling a collection of Derrydale Press sporting, local history and Thousand Islands books from Everett Foster’s (1942-2010) library in Clayton, NY. Along with Audubon books and lithographs from a home on Upper Saranac Lake and rare books from a Philadelphia, PA Collection.
