BEVERLY, MASS. — Kaminski Auctions’ next sale will be a two-day auction Friday and Saturday, November 19-20, featuring women’s and men’s couture on Friday and an estate auction on Saturday. The couture auction will feature designer handbags from such names as Louis Vuitton and Hermes and couture clothing from designers, Valentino, YSL and Emmanuel Ungaro, to name a few. The men’s category features a selection of English Saville Row formal wear, dress coats and suits.
Costume and jewelry feature prominently on Day One with a man’s Rolex oyster perpetual Daytona Cosmograph wristwatch in its original box and a men’s Rolex oyster perpetual date Yacht Master chronometer stainless wristwatch. For women there is Chanel costume jewelry, as well as South Sea and Mikimoto pearl necklaces and bracelet. There is additionally an unusual 18K yellow gold and diamond three-band ring with a center oval stone.
Day Two features paintings by Robert Rafailovich Falk (1886-1958), Albert Bierstadt and Venice scenes by Walter Franklin Lansil (1846-1925) and Antonietta Brandeis 1848-1926.) Contemporary art includes a Keith Haring (1958-1990) untitled lithograph from his “South African” series and a Harlan Christopher Jackson (1918-1993) Modern abstract in mixed media. An Enrico Donati bronze sculpture titled “Sacred Column” on a black marble base and a pair of old bronze standing lions are the featured sculpture offerings in the sale.
As always, there is a selection of American and Continental furniture, several chandeliers and antique Persian rugs. The two-day auction will be conducted in the Kaminski Auctions gallery at 117 Elliott Street starting at 10 am each day. Preview hours are Monday to Friday, November 15-19 and the days of the auction beginning at 8 am. The auction preview is also open while the auction is live.
