VERGENNES, VT. — Stone Block Art Gallery is hosting its Holiday Warehouse Sale on November 18-20, 8 am to 5 pm.
The gallery is full yet again with all manner of antiques and things from local homes, and so it will be conducting the three-day event to clear it out, pare it down, downsize, liquidate and let it go. In the meantime, nothing will be sold, and the gallery will be closed until November 18 at 8 am.

Shoppers will find antique American Federal, Biedermeier, Victorian, Adirondack, Chippendale and Twentieth Century furniture, including dining tables and chair sets, bookcases, camp furniture, chests, upholstered sofas and chairs, wicker sofa and chairs, sideboards and credenzas and game tables, a Pennsylvania Eighteenth/Nineteenth Century corner cupboard, slant front desks, Chinese screens and primitives.
There are hundreds of pieces of Nineteenth and Twentieth Century art, including a large group of late Twentieth Century abstracts by Marlene Housner, more than 100 works on paper by various artists from the Margaret Brown (1908-1957) Gallery on Dartmouth Street in Boston, Indian paintings on silk, prints by Long Island artist Louis Fink (1926-1980), Murray Snyder pastels, Arthur Healy watercolors and much more.

Oriental carpets from room to scatter size, marble pedestals, costume jewelry, bargain basement vintage clothing, numerous trunks from doll to coffee table size, several sets of andirons, a child size workbench, coat and hat racks, table and floor lamps from Nineteenth to midcentury, advertising crates and more will all be on offer.
