HAMPTON FALLS, N.H. — Edward B. Beattie Auctions has an online Auction Ninja sale of antiques, artwork, clocks, barometers, Waterford, period furniture and more that will start to close on Thursday, April 7, at 7 pm. The items came out of a Dover, N.H., home and a Manchester-by-the-Sea estate in Massachusetts.

“A definite highlight are the bronze nude sculptures,” said Edward Beattie, auctioneer. “We are selling three very fine limited edition, half-size sculptures by Victor Issa, one of the foremost figurative sculptors in America. I would also mention we have some nice artwork, including an oil on canvas still life by Benjamin Champney and a landscape signed S.L. Gerry.

“We do many, many house calls and you never know what you will find,” added Beattie. “The eclectic sale features a beautiful period Portsmouth, N.H., card table, a working antique cylinder music box and an early carved powder horn signed Nathan Willard.”

Among the fun lots is a vintage oak French wine/champagne Riddling rack, a whole collection of iconic Le Creuset Dutch ovens and pans, a signed John F. Kennedy printed Irish poem and several perfume bottles.

As with any auction featuring the contents of a home accumulated over decades, there are a wide variety of interesting lots from antique bottles and Chelsea clocks to books and costume jewelry.
